- SGS BOM RDISS BOM MSTAR BOM MRTI BOM IBDSoS BOM FPS BOM Cerberus BOM Sources Sought RFI This is a Sources Sought synopsis announcement for market research in support of the Department of Army's Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Systems-Combined (BETSS-C) Family of Systems (FoS). This information will be utilized for preliminary planning purposes. The information received will be utilized within the General Services Administration and Department of Army to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside either agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing this information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Further, the General Services Administration and the Department of Army is not seeking proposals or quotes and will not accept unsolicited proposals or quotes. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the analysis. If adequate responses are not received from 8(a), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), or Small Business concerns, the acquisition may be solicited on an unrestricted basis. All data received in response to this Sources Sought synopsis that is marked or designated as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the Government. Since this is a Sources Sought announcement, no debrief, evaluation letters, or results will be issued to respondents. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis will be used to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses, and if the Government plans to proceed with the acquisition, a solicitation announcement will be published on Federal Business Opportunities (Fedbizopps) at www.fbo.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a proposal package or solicitation. There is no proposal package or solicitation at this time. In order to protect the Government integrity of any future procurement, if any, which may arise from this Sources Sought announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The Department of Army's requirement is divided into two parts: supply sustainment for the BETSS-C FoS and camera repair and maintenance. The camera repair support includes repair on the Ranger 3XR camera found on the Cerberus system; the EOSS 250 TC LRTI camera found on the FPS system; and the TIM 1500 MRTI camera found on the RDISS system. In providing supply sustainment, the Department of Army requires the Contractor to provide supply support, program management, data management, and application management. In addition the Department of Army requires the Contractor to be able to provide spare parts for the following components to Ft. Bragg, NC: 1. Standard Ground Station (SGS) Spare Components 2. CERBERUS Spare Components 3. FPS Suite Spare Components 4. IBDSoS Spare Components 5. MRTI Spare Components 6. MSTAR Spare Components 7. RDISS Spare Components Please see the attached Bill of Materials (BOMs) for a full description of components and part numbers.
