Description

This requirement is for a two (2) year contract in support of Air Traffic Control Product Office (PM ATC) for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Engineering Services (ES). This requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition and negotiated on a sole source basis. This item is restricted to, General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4S), Cage Code 1VN18, because GDC4S currently asserts the proprietary data rights to manufacturing processes, engineering data, and software packages required to perform the required Engineering Services support. The Government intends to solicit on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(b)(1). No solicitation is available for issuance and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This synopsis closes on 05 May 2010 at 12:00 noon CST. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
