- Synopsis: The U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) National Capital Region Contracting Center, Division C issues this sources sought for information and planning purposes only. This notice is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This sources sought is a market research tool to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources which will be used for planning purposes and to determine if potential sources exist to support the requirement. This information is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. 1. The National Capital Region Contracting Center (NCRCC), Division C, Fort Huachuca, AZ is attempting to determine if a commercial capability exists to accommodate recurring marriage and family retreats, and official conferences hosted by US Army organizations located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. These retreats and conferences are held in the Tucson, AZ metropolitan area and occur throughout the year. 2. This capability will include the following: a. A resort-type facility with onsite spa services. Example Spa services should include massage treatments, facial treatments, body treatments, wraps and masks, and hair care therapies. b. Recreational activities such as hiking, biking, fitness facility, swimming pool, jacuzzi, golf course, and trail running. c. Onsite restaurant, parking, conference rooms (60 80 person capacity), and audio-visual equipment. The restaurant should be capable of providing breakfast, lunch, and dinner. d. Catering services that include full-menu meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and snacks and beverages during conference break times or when a full menu is not required. e. Rooms and suites accommodating single personnel, couples, and families. f. Accommodate, on average, 24 one-bedroom suites per event and 12 two-bedroom suites per event. g. Provide, on average, 2 conference rooms per event with audio visual support to include, but not limited to, DVD, projection screen, podium, microphone, LCD projector, public address/speakers, large screen television (53, or larger). h. Provide additional items, as required, per conference room to include, but not limited to, small refrigerator, microwave, easel and easel paper, and markers. 3. The majority of these events occur during the months of July to September. The next most frequent occurances are in the months of October to December. 4. The anticipated NAICS Code is 721110 Hotels (except casino hotels) with golf courses, tennis courts, and/or other health spa facilities (i.e., resorts). If your firm is capable of meeting the stated criteria stated in paragraph #1, please submit a capability statement including the following information: (1) Company name and mailing address, including cage code (2) Point of contact (name, telephone number, and e-mail address) (3) Small business status if any, (small disadvantaged business, woman-owned business, veteran-owned business, etc.) (4) Indicate if your company primarily does business in the commercial or Government sector (5) Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under for Government contract (6) Indicate if your company is currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Capability statements may be submitted in your own format and shall be 2 pages or less. Electronic submission is the preffered method of receipt. However, the statements may be mailed to the address listed below as long as they are received by the due date. This sources sought is used for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. No contract will be awarded as a result of this synopsis. All information received in response to this sources sought that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the sources sought will not be returned. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this sources sought. All interested responsible businesses are encouraged to submit information at any time prior to expiration of this advertisement.
