- The proposed contract action is for commercial items, which the Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to solicit on an unrestricted basis. Interested contractors/persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. However, all proposals received by 23 April 2010, 06:00AM, Pacific Standard Time, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items contract, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, N00259-10-T-0258 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 511210, Size: 500. This is an unrestricted procurement. Quotations are due on or before 11 February 2009, 10:00 AM. Pacific Standard Time to be considered responsive.
