- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure air cooled amplifiers on a sole source basis from Acrodyne Services, 10706 Beveaver Dam Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030. CLIN 0001-Five (5) Part No. US700N-8301C1 Amplifiers. The required amplifiers will be part of a second prototype system that must replicate the first prototype. Components of the two systems need to be interchangeable. The Acrodyne amplifiers were built to specifically fit specification requirements and only an exact replacement from Acrodyne will meet all the criteria. The Request For Proposal (RFP) Number is N00178-10-R-3028. The required delivery is 3 months after contract award. Award is to be made under FAR subpart 13.5 procedures. A Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded. The NAICS Code is 334220 and the FSC Code is 5820. Pricing will be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Suite 159, Dahlgren, Virginia 22448-5114. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 3 May 2010 with a closing date of 17 May 2010. Anticipated award date is 1 June 2010.
