- The Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA (VISN 7) requires courier services for pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens (blood products and other samples), outgoing mail, clinical and business supplies from the Community Based Outpatient Clinics at Bessemer, AL; Guntersville, AL; to the VA Medical Center Birmingham, AL. The Period of Performance will be May 3, 2010 through January 31, 2011. This procurement is a set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Vendor must have an established company with a Business License, Duns Number, Tax ID Number, a current Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Veteran Business System (VETBIZ) Registration. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 492110 with a small business standard size of 1500 employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 20, 2010.
