- SOURCES SOUGHT FOR BASE OPERATING SERVICES (BOS). Information requested is for all labor including supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items necessary to provide maintenance and repair services for Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, in accordance with general craft and industry standards, regulations, codes and Federal Specifications. The contract will be a requirements type contract and will include a wide variety of facility maintenance and repair tasks (NAICS Code 561210). We request all interested and qualified firms respond to this sources sought notice with the following information: (1) Name, Address, Phone, Fax, e-mail, DUNS number and Business Size (if Small Business, also list any applicable sub-classes i.e. 8(a), Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran, etc). (2) A list of (not to exceed 5) BOS or similar contracts your firm currently holds or has completed within the last three years. The list of relevant contracts should include the location, contract number, description, estimated yearly value, performance dates, and Government point of contact with phone and fax numbers. Please limit your responses to 5 pages. This information must be faxed to 301-981-1907 to the attention of James McGill/Anke Taylor or emailed to james.mcgill-02@afncr.af.mil AND anke.taylor@afncr.af.mil no later than 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time 23 April 2010. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all materials, equipment and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish individual delivery orders and maintain a management/project office at Joint Base Andrews, MD in order to receive delivery orders and provide other management services related to accomplishing individual jobs. The contract will consist of one base performance period of twelve months from the date of award, with four 12-month option periods. Individual delivery orders will range from $2,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Award will be based on best value using performance-price trade-off (PPT) procedures. A pre-proposal site visit, date, time and location will be posted in the solicitation. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, or plans will be issued from this office. Telephone or fax requests will not be accepted. The solicitation will be issued on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation release is subject to the availability of funds but is anticipated to be issued on or about 31 May 2010. All interested parties must respond to the solicitation separately from the response to this sources sought notice. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government in its ultimate acquisition approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
