- NBC Contracting Office intends to solocit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to The Journey Museum.This is the only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. This services can not be provided by another vendor, because it would be cost prohibitive to move the collections and counter-productive to the mission of the Indian Arts and Crafts Board, to have the collections, displayed and stored anywhere other than The Journey Museum in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Government intends to acquire a commerical item using FAR PART 12, Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide services to the Journey Museum to identified point of contract not later han 4:00 p.m. EST on March 20, 2009. Such capabilites/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice to Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to deborah_s_freeman@nbc.gov.
