Description
The Contractor, in consultation with, and with the approval of the Government Representative, provides support services needed to assist NHTSA in meeting its program mission. These support services are: •1) Maintain a warehouse for product storage, enabling fast, accurate access to NHTSA's multimedia products exhibits, and other traffic safety-related materials. •2) Process orders for multimedia products and retrieve information on materials used for agency exhibits. As part of this requirement, the Contractor shall support, maintain, and inventory all multimedia materials. In addition, the Contractor shall fulfill product/materials orders, tracking these orders using a database maintained by the Government. •3) Provide support for the agency's exhibits by shipping and receiving materials to/from conference sites and by tracking, inspecting, and inventorying all graphics artwork and display units. As part of this requirement, the Contractor shall coordinate logistics for agency exhibits, which involves a multi-step process that is outlined under Specific Requirements listed below. •4) Assist NHTSA in updating its web based Traffic Safety Materials Catalog. •5) Provide transition services initially and at contract conclusion. The Contractor shall perform the above tasks using management practices designed to maximize customer satisfaction, to ensure a high degree of accuracy, and to meet, in a cost efficient manner, established budge criteria. At the end of the first year, and each option year of the contract, the Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) will assess whether these performance standards have been met before the Contracting Officer exercising its rights to extend the contract for the next. The period of performance of this contract will be a three-year base period, plus two (2) renewable, one-year option periods, for a total potential contract period of five (5) years.
