- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to procure group registration through the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (AMSE) Inc. for the AMSE International Gas Turbine Institute (IGTI) TURBO EXPO 2010 on 14-18 Jun 2010 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. It is intended to place a firm fixed price order with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (AMSE) Inc., located at 3 Park Ave Floor 21 in New York, NY 10016-5902. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and does not constitute a solicitation. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Delivery of the items is due three (3) weeks after the date of action award. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561920 with a size standard of $7.0M.
