This is a Sources Sought Synopsis/Request for Information (RFI) which is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. The 754th Electronic Systems Group, Installations and Logistics Systems Division, Depot Maintenance Section (754 ELSG/ILMD), Wright-Patterson AFB, is conducting market research to identify qualified businesses to provide sustainment/development Information Technology (IT) services support for the Depot Maintenance Consolidated Operational Database (DM CODB) within the Depot Maintenance Systems Integration (DMSI) environment. Support activity for the DM CODB is located at 4170 Hebble Creek Road, Bldg 280, Wright-Patterson AFB OH 45433-5635. The primary purpose of the DM CODB is to consolidate and provide data for the production management of the Depot repair and maintenance process for the Air Force Enterprise. It is an operational-level data environment, serving on-line transaction processing applications for managing day-to-day operations in the Air Force aircraft maintenance depots. The DM CODB provides corporate-level data to support AFMC tactical and strategic planning activities. As operational applications are technically refreshed, they are enhanced with new user capabilities for reporting and on-line analytical processing (OLAP). Drawing upon the DM CODB's consolidated data, these systems enable users to extract information, perform analyses, create reports, and respond to information requests from AFMC command-level staff, HQ Air Force staff, and Department of Defense (DoD) element! s. The DM CODB also provides data for similar purposes to the Air Force Global Combat Support System Data Services (GCSS-AF DS), and to other data marts / warehouses and Enterprise Integration projects. The DM CODB is based upon and compliant with the Joint Technical Architecture (JTA), and the Air Force Global Combat Support System (GCSS-AF) architecture.
