- RECOVERY - This project is funded in whole by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The project is located on the Stanislaus National Forest in California. This project intends to decommission American Camp and restore it to its pre-existing condition prior to development. Work shall consist of construction of a temporary creek crossing and the demolition and removal of the American Camp barracks, garage, bridge, well house, water tank, septic tank, existing fence, exposed utility pipe or conduit, the abandonment of the existing well, minor road decommissioning, and re-garding the decommissioned areas to blend with existing site conditions. All existing wood and concrete structures shall be removed, excavated, and debris hauled off National Forest lands. The anticipated performance period for this work will be 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal and an electronic response will be due on or about 1 Jun 2010. Specific details for quotation submittal will be included in the solicitation package when posted to this site. This solicitation is being conducted as a Small Business Administration HUBZone Set-aside under FAR Part 19.13. Offers will only be accepted from HUBZone certified providers. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications will be released and posted to the https://www.fbo.gov website on or about 5 May 2010. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the Request for Quotation package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov website.
