- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA Weather Service Office located in Barrow, AK has a requirement to transport helium tanks from Seattle, WA to McGrath, AK as follows: 1. Transport ISO Helium tank, 23,600 lbs weight via barge from Seattle to McGrath, AK and return empty tanks,, required delivery date no later than Aug 31, 2010 The government intends to issue a firm- fixed contract. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. Only firms that can provide the exact services described herein will be considered. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 527-7513 attention to Maria Mendoza or email at maria.l.mendoza@noaa.gov. This is a simplified acquisition with estimated value of less than $100,000.00. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this solicitation and resultant award. After this date, NO award can be made unless the vender is registered in CCR. For additional information and to register in CCR please access the following web site: http://www.ccr.gov. In order to register with the CCR and to be eligible to receive an award from this acquisition office, all offerors must have a Dun & Bradstreet Number.
