- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Air Force (USAF) intends to award a sole source, commercial, firm-fixed price award to Environmental Express Inc, for the purchase and installation of a 54-well AutoBlock III, 5 Reagent System, Touch Screen. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32, 31 March 2009, DFARS Change Notice 20090115, NAICS Code: 334516, Place of Performance FOB Destination Robins AFB, GA. NOTE 22 APPLIES Environmental Express, Inc. is the only known manufacturer of the 54-well AutoBlock System that can provide a self contained system that has a completely corrosive free pumping system. The system is also required to perform accurate automated additons of corrosive solutions and heats and cools the samples in a solf contained HEPA filtered environment, limiting exposure to the analyst. The AutoBlock also increases lab effeciency by allowing simultaneous testing of up to 3 methods, 54 samples.
