Description
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs, ASAO8 East, Tampa Contracting Branch, intends to negotiate and award a sole source procurement to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business under 38 U.S.C. 8127, Public Law 109-461. This procurement will be conducted in accordance with the requirements in FAR Part 5 and VAAR 819-7007. A determination to not compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government. A written solicitation will not be issued. This is not a request for offers. Intention is to award to Unique Cleaning Service, Inc., Marietta, GA. Contractor will provide Facilities Support Services to the James A. Haley Veterans Hospitals Home-Based Oxygen Program leased space, located at 5910(E) Breckenridge Park, Tampa, FL 33610. Anticipated period of performance, including any Option Years, is 3 years 5 months. NAICS code is 561210. Small business size standard is $35.5 mil. Service Contract Act applies. Scope of work is to provide Facilities Support Services for 5,380 Net Usable Square Feet (NUSF) of office and warehouse space at a firm fixed price, to include the following Routine Work: 1) Housekeeping services, approximately 3 hours/day on Tuesdays and Thursdays onlylimited services (trash removal only) for warehouse portion of space (approximately 70 percent of NUSF); 2) Maintenance and testing of building systems; and 3) Maintenance and repair services of electrical equipment and lights. Scope of work also includes an estimated total of 190 hours/year of Additional Work via Time and Materials/Labor Hours for Electrician, HVAC Mechanic, Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, General Maintenance Worker, and Maintenance Trades Helper.
