- This is a presolicitation notice for 100% small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(a). A solicitation is not currently available; however, the following description is provided to assist offerors in determining their interest in providing the requested item. Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, parts, travel, and remote service to maintain the PowerScribe dictation system utilized in Radiology Service, Bay Pines VAMC to include the following: on-site service on all hardware and software 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and remote electronic diagnostic services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334611. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is 500 employees. Small Business concerns should indicate interest in this acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer, not later than 4 calendar days of this notice, evidence of his interest to provide this requirement and a positive statement of eligibility as a small business concern. If adequate responses are not received from small business concerns, the acquisition may be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Responses to this notice must be in writing; facsimile responses are acceptable. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors, resulting in the best value for the Government. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity (CAGE) code. All responsive offerors will be considered by the agency. The entire solicitation will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation release date is on or about April 26, 2010, with responses due back May 6, 2010. The expected date of contract award is May 10, 2010.
