- The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for the furnishing of Hired Car (Taxi) and Wheelchair Van Transportation services for the VA Medical Center (VAMC), Marion, IL and the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic (VAOPC), Evansville, IN. Transportation services are required seven (7) days per week (including holidays), twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year, for the term of the contract. The majority of requests for services will be between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 485991 and the Size Standard is $7.0 M. Contract term will be for a base period of one year with option to renew 4 additional one-year periods. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for award to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical Factors, Past Performance and Price in accordance with the evaluation criteria identified in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about November 4, 2009. Due date for receipt of offers is December 4, 2009, 4:00 p.m. CST. Anticipated award date is January 5, 2010.
