Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-08-G-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. This effort is to perform the non-recurring and recurring work required to qualify and incorporate improvements to the Auxiliary Fuel Tank Break-Away Valve into the U.S. Navy's MH-60 Romeo Aircraft. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAC alone has the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe. See numbered note 22.
