- Performance Work Statement Attachment 1 - Evaluation Factors The Department of the Air Force, Air Force District of Washington, 5201 Leesburg Pike, Suite 1501, Falls Church, VA 22041, UNITED STATES. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation FA7014-10-T-8005 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for providing an appropriate commercial facility to host the 2010 Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) Research Symposium. The selected facility will be herein referred to as 'the site.' The site shall be in the Washington D.C Metro Area. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-39 effective March 19, 2010. Set-aside: 100% Small Business, The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is: 561920 - Convention and Trade Show Organizers, Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The proposed acquisition consists of the following Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs): Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001: Audiovisual Technician for duration of conference IAW the Performance Work Statement as attached; QUANITY: 1, UNIT OF ISSUE: U.S. Dollars; Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0002: Audio Visual Equipment for duration of conference IAW the Performance Work Statement as attached; QUANTITY: 1, UNIT OF ISSUE: U.S. Dollars; Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0003: Meeting/Breakout rooms for duration of conference IAW the Performance Work Statement as attached; QUANITY: 1, UNIT OF ISSUE: U.S. Dollars; Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0004: Light Refreshments during 3 day conference IAW the Performance Work Statement as attached; QUANITY: 1, UNIT OF ISSUE: U.S. Dollars; Period of Performance: 24 Aug 2010 - 26 Aug 2010. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict Confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution. Consulting an ombudsman does not alter or postpone the timelines for any other processes (e.g., agency level bid protests, GAO bid protests, requests for debriefings, employee-employer actions, contests of OMBC A-76 competition performance decisions).
