- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 2, Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave, Albany NY 12208 intends to negotiate a sole source commercial (FAR Part 12) contract with Ironclad Construction Services, LLC. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Authorized by Statue and Public Law 109-461. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC). This procurement is to provide Construction services for interconnecting the building systems in the new VISN Office Building with the Medical Center's systems and all related work for interfacing the systems that are being connected. The proposed contract action is for construction for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 3:00 P.M. April 21, 2010, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
