Description

This is a simplified acquisition/commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6 and under the test program for commercial item iaw FAR 13.5. FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to acquire on a sole source basis with The Mathworks, Inc. 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA iaw FAR 6.301(1) and FAR 13.501(a) to provide Software Maintenance Licenses in support of the MATLAB software modules for The Office of Naval Intelligence, Washington, DC. An Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The NAICS is 511210. The resultant contract will contain a base year plus two(2) one year options as follows: Base Year 01 Oct 2010 thru 30 Sept 2011; Option Year I- 01 Oct 2011 thru 30 Sep 2012; and Option Year II-01 Oct 2012 thru 30 Sep 2013.
