Description
Range Radar Replacement Program (RRRP) W900KK-10-R-0034 Request for Information #4 15 April 2010 Closing Date: 29 April 2010 The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI); Project Manager for Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators (PM ITTS); Instrumentation Management Office (IMO) is requesting information from industry to aid in requirements definition. Updating and/or replacing systems require user training. Specifically, PEO STRI is interested in the following information: For upgrades to a current system: Does your training program include a Train the Trainer component? What is the training time for users expected when upgrading a system? How is the training session divided between classroom, computer-based training, field/hands-on training? What are the required and/or recommended prerequisites for personnel being trained? What is the skill sets required for the training? What is a desirable background of those being trained? Does your firm provide technical support? If so, for how long a period of time is it available? For system replacement: Does your training program include a Train the Trainer component? What is the training time for users expected when upgrading a system? How is the training session divided between classroom, computer-based training, field/hands-on training? What are the required and/or recommended prerequisites for personnel being trained? What is the skill sets required for the training? What is a desirable background of those being trained? Does your firm provide technical support? If so, for how long a period of time is it available? Submittals should be in Microsoft Word 2003 or 2007 and be sent electronically to the contracting POC. Submittals may be provided as PDF files in addition to Microsoft Word. Maximum electronic file size for submittal submission should be less than 50MB.
