- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This acquisition will utilize simplified procedures in accordance with Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase one (1) 160kw, Low Stored Energy High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS), ITEM HVPS-40-160, PN MA!102144. This item will be procured on a sole source basis from Diversified Technologies, Inc. 35 Wiggins Avenue, Bedford, MA 01730, in accordance with the Statutory Authority Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The resultant contract will be on a Firm Fixed-Price basis. The estimated required delivery date is 8 months ARO. All responsible sources must provide a written proposal to demonstrate their ability to meet the purchase specifications. In addition, all sources will be required to demonstrate their ability to meet the required delivery schedule. A Formal Request for Proposal will be issued on or before 21 April 2010. The closing date will be 7 days after issuance. Anticipated award date is on or before 28 May 2010. DFAR 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) is applicable to this purchase. DFAR 252.232-7003 (Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports) is applicable to this purchase. Pricing should be FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA 22448. Applicable warranty information shall be included. Applicable NAICS code is 335999, 500 employee size standard. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
