III 3 Rutgers Plaza New Brunswick, N.J. 08901 ATTN: Stephanie Culpepper, Senior Buyer Phone: (732) 932-4375, ext. 2307 Fax: (732) 932-4390 Email: stephcul@rci.rutgers.edu Date for receipt of proposals : Monday, May 17, 2010 The National Transit Institute (NTI) is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to develop its Asset Management Course. The objective is to develop an Asset Management Training course by revising an existing course offered by the National Highway Institute. The update will be made in conjunction with NTI and Federal Transit Administration staff. The course will cover the general principles of asset management as it pertains to the transit industry. A pilot training session of the course will be conducted by September 30, 2010. NTI’s Asset Management Course, a two day course should cover the principles of asset management with focus on transit systems and should be targeted towards senior and mid-level managers. The development of the course will use the asset management course offered by the FHWA’s Office of Asset Management. To obtain a copy of the complete Request for Proposal, send a written request on your organization letterhead to stephcul@rci.rutgers.edu or fax a copy of your request to the fax number noted above, to the attention of Stephanie Culpepper. Requests will be honored if received no later than Friday, April 30, 2010.
