- SOW for Natick Writing Course The purpose of this solicitation is to select a course instructor to design, develop, and conduct a writing seminar for approximately 750 Federal employees. The service provider selected for this six-week program will design and develop two, three-hour writing sessions. The first session will be targeted to writing performance objectives and the second session will be targeted to writing performance accomplishments in support of the agency's needs. In addition to the two, three-hour writing sessions, the service provider will coordinate the critique of each participant's submittal of draft performance objectives (1 each participant) and accomplishments (1 each participant). The critiques will not be done during on-site activities, but must be accomplished within an established timeframe after program delivery. Each of the three-hour sessions will be offered as many times as needed to cover attendance by approximately 750 employees. In order to train the entire employee population, it is estimated that approximately three weeks of each session (estimated class size of 20-25 per session), run twice daily, will be required. The following is the proposed time frame: One week during June/July 2010 One week during October/November 2010 One week during January 2011 These sessions will be followed up by the writing critiques of the draft performance objectives. The schedule for the sessions targeted to writing performance accomplishments and associated follow-up critiques would be scheduled during the remainder of FY11.
