- This project is for brushing roads, moving logs and cleaning up slash from danger tree falling activities. Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and all incidentals to perform all work necessary to conduct these services. The anticipated period of performance is from the date of award through September 30, 2011. The Government intends to issue a firm, fixed-price contract. Project work will be confined to the Umpqua National Forest, including all four Ranger Districts (Cottage Grove, Diamond Lake, North Umpqua and Tiller) within Douglas, Lane and Jackson counties. Resulting orders shall utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror, will be required. Note: Prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications (Section K in Solicitations) in the ORCA system.
