- Revised PWS, April 15 2010 ****Amendment #3**** 1) The PWS has changed. Please review the revised PWS and modify quotes accordingly. ***Amendment #2*** 1) The deadline has been extended to 19 April at 1400. 2) A Site Visit has been scheduled for 15 April at 1400 (see below for more details). 3) Questions and Answers have been attached. 4) A deadline for asking questions after the site visit has been established. All questions need to be provided to TSgt Susan Reinhart NLT 1000 on 16 April. All answers will be posted on FBO by close of business 16 April. **Amendment #1** 1) The deadline has been extended to 15 April at 1600. 2) Answers to vendor questions are still pending. 3) An approximate square footage value has been added to CLIN 0002 (note changes in PWS) COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M0W10061A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-39, dated 19 March 2010. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 238150 with an $14 million size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote for the cutting and installation of glass tops for office furniture in Building 16000. The items are listed in the attached statement of work. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. The deadline for questions pertaining to this requirement is 1400, 19 April 2010. CLIN 0001 - Cutting and installation of glass tops for office furniture on the second floor of Building 16000 on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached statement of work) CLIN 0002 - Cutting and installation of glass tops for office furniture on the first floor of Building 16000 on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached statement of work) Please complete and return the attached RFQ document when submitting your quote. A Site Visit will be conducted at 1400 in Building 16000 on Charleston AFB. The Contractor's will be required to meet Contracting at the Dorchester gate at 1330 to be signed on base. Please call TSgt Reinhart at 963-5159 and let her know you will be attending. (vii) The work on CLIN 0001 must begin within 14 calendar days of award and be completed within 45 calendar days of award. The work on CLIN 0002 will begin in conjunction with furniture delivery on or about 21 May 2010 and be completed within 45 calendar days of furniture arrival. (viii) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award: (full text of clauses and provisions may be accessed electronically at this website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (ix) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Evaluation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes.
