- This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Airgas National Welders. The requirement is for rental of one 1,500 gallon bulk oxygen tank and one 160 gallon reserve tank. Location of the tanks will be Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310. The period of performance for this requirement is a Base Period (June 1, 2010 through May 31, 2011) and 4 one-year option periods (June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2015). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received by April 19, 2010, 12:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time (EST). Responses may be faxed to 910-907-9307 or emailed to Lonnie.robinson2@us.army.mil.
