- This is a PRESOLICITATION Notice for the following: Procurement is 100% set aside for Total Small Business Concerns. Project Name: Replace Foundation on Cabins #37 and #43 The North American Industry Classification System (NACIS) Code: 238110 "Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors" The Small Business Size Standard is $14.0 Million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of the requirement for this contract is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 The Solicitation Number for this Project is Q682010A210. The US Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office is soliciting proposals from Small Businesses for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to provide all labor, supplies, equipment and material necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: brace, shore, raise, and temporarily support two structures (cabins). Remove existing block foundations and construct new treated wood foundations and lower structures back onto newly constructed foundations. The location for this requirement is just off the Ash River Trail, approximately 40 miles south of International Falls, Minnesota (see attached map). The work site is known as Voyageurs National Park Whispering Pines seasonal housing area. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested and qualified parties with the time and date to be announced in the Solicitation. The Solicitation and attachments will be posted electronically on or about April 09, 2010 at the following website: www/fedbizopps.gov. All Amendments will also be posted to this website. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following the date of posting of the Solicitation unless extended. Once posted, the solicitation can be accessed through www.fbo.gov by searching for the Solicitation Number Q682010A210, and then clicking on the link to the IDEAS-EC website. Individual requests for Solicitation packages will NOT be accepted and no packages are available in hard copy. Responses from Officers' will be accepted in hard copy format only, at the address of the point of contact stated earlier in this announcement. All offers must be received by the due date and time stated in the Solicitation. This Announcement does not constitute the Solicitation. All interested Contractors are asked to add their name to the "Interested Vendor List" for this project.
