- The Naval Inventory Control Point is soliciting for a Repair Basic Ordering Agreement with a five year base period and estimated dollar value of $8.8 million. This BOA will provide coverage for 19 components used to support the P-3 aircraft. Some of the larger dollar items are as follows:Receiver-Transmitt P/N RT1100ARC161 Niin 00-110-1119Frame & Harness P/N 8328811-501 Niin 00-134-1530Amplifier, Radio P/N 8356961-507 Niin 01-440-6604Electronic Component P/N 8657266-504 Niin 00-110-1748Power Supply P/N 8657271-505 Niin 01-097-9234 L-3 Communications Corporation(11477) is located in Camden, NJ is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the government. The subject items require government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are considered flight critical and the technical data package is not available. Only the source(s) previously approved by the government for this item have been solicited. The time required approval for a new source is normally such that an award can not be delayed pending approval of a new source.
