- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purpose of the South Carolina Army National Guard (SCARNG) Occupational Back Training Program is to provide comprehensive on-site, interactive training for back health and safety education. The use of multiple learning methods and audience participation enhances learning by all participants by using energetic teaching styles to create enthusiasm and motivation. Ongoing support ensures long-term effectiveness. A back health and safety system is proven to get results. It should be a program approved and recommended by workers, managers, and unions. OSHA has stated that the solution to back injuries is quality education a system widely used in government facilities. Engage employees in enjoyable and motivating learning to make an indelible impression and give long-term benefits to the individual and the workplace. Purpose is to reduce painful and costly back injuries both on and off the job and improve overall health and wellness. Goal is to teach our employees how to have a healthy back for life.
