- Description
- Community-Based Outpatient Clinic for Rock Hill, SC 1. Contractor shall be responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of this contract as set forth in this contract. This includes responsibility for all contract employees, subcontracts, agents and anyone acting for or on the behalf of the Contractor. 2. The CBOC is not designated as an emergency or critical care center, and as such, is by "appointment only" or unscheduled urgent/emergent need. 3. The Contractor will provide clinical space, health care providers, medical equipment/supplies, and all administrative functions and supplies, especially clerk(s) and case manager(s) for mental health patients, to fulfill the level of care and range of services as required by VA, JCAHO, or other regulatory agencies. Safety of patients and staff must be assured through personal panic alarms and immediate security personnel. 4. Security - Contractor shall provide on-site security during normal business hours to ensure the safety and security of patients and staff. Intrusion alarms should be installed on building for after hour's security. 5. Janitorial - Janitorial services will be provided by the contractor. 6. All human subjects research performed in the VA on VA patients should be directed through the VA research department. 7. Contractor shall provide services to include but not limited to the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and diagnostic ICD-9-CM Codes as defined in Attachment "A". NOTE CPT Codes may be added or removed upon written mutual agreement of both parties. 8. Non-enrolled patients: To provide services to patients who are not enrolled at the Rock Hill CBOC, but are referred to the CBOC by the Dorn VAMC or the Greenville Outpatient Clinic for the convenience of the patient. Service items may be ordered by the Medical Center or the Greenville Outpatient Clinic on patients treated at these facilities that may live in the area where the contractor is providing contracted service. Also, there may need to be stat labs done if a patient visits the nurse or the provider with an urgent or emergent condition. These services may also be used for non-enrolled patients who report with an urgent or emergent condition.
