Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC), located at the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey, has an upcoming requirement for Radio Communications System Maintenance & Services. The anticipated start date is May/June 2010. The FAA will issue a one year base contract, with four one year options. This requirement is anticipated to be a predominately firm fixed price contract. This requirement is a small business set aside, under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 811213, Communication Equipment Maintenance with a size standard $7.0 million. There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for Monday, April 26, 2010 9:00 AM. All interested parties must confirm attendance to the site visit by e-mailing their confirmation to kimberly.a.knight@faa.gov. Offerors are advised that a maximum of (2) people per perspective bidder may participate in the site visit. All parties will meet at the William J. Hughes Technical Center, Security Operations Center, Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey 08405. Offerors are advised that this will be the only site visit scheduled; therefore, arrangements for individual site visits will not be honored. Those not in attendance at the scheduled site visit will not be permitted to submit an offer for award of these services resulting from the SIR. SIR No. DTFACT-10-R-00017 is provided as an attachment to this announcement along with all related attachments and other information. Any questions regarding the terms and conditions contained in the SIR or any of its attachments must be addressed via e-mail by Thursday April 29, 2010. All questions shall be sent to kimberly.a.knight@faa.gov. The completed SIR and all other information required for proposal submittal on this effort must be submitted no later than Wednesday May 12, 2010 2:00 pm EST, per the instructions set forth in the SIR.
