- The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Moog Incorporated Aircraft Group., 300 Jamison RD, East Aurora, NY 14052, (Cage Code:94697) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the unique or specialized nature of the work. The V-22 Fleet Support Team, MCAS Cherry Point, NC intends to procure a Flaperon/Elevator Centerline Tool Kit, Swashplate Centerline Tool Kit, and related proprietary drawings conveyed with limited rights as required for specialized assembly, disassembly, and repair of the noted components in the V-22 aircraft. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received in a timely manner of fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
