- Custodial Services for Southwest Regional International Airport (RSW) Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT/TRACON) and Page Field ATCT, Fort Myers, FL. The Federal Aviation Administration, Eastern Logistics Service Area anticipates awarding the contract for an initial base period of 1 (one) year with four (one-year) options. Issue date of solicitation:April 14, 2010Due date for offers: May 19, 2010Start date for performance: July 1, 2010 This acquisition is "Full and Open Competition" for businesses within a 250 mile radius of Fort Myers, FL. Note: A tiered evaluation will be utilized, see Section "M" of the solicitation package. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 561720, Janitorial services. Offers are due: Wednesday May 19, 2010 until 5:00 pm (EST). To be considered for the award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (website: www.ccr.gov). This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
