- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVFAC SE/FEAD, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB), Fort Worth, TX 76127 intends to issue a solicitation to obtain maintenance and water treatment, equipment maintenance and operation of the Indoor Training Tank at NAS JRB. The requirement is to provide all chemicals for water treatment, monitoring of water quality, operation and maintenance of pumps, chemical injection equipment, controls, and monitors including cleaning, brushing, vacuuming and general maintenance of the Training Tank in accordance with the contract requirements. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price facility support service contract for a base year and four (4) 12-month options. This announcement is published as a Total Small Business Set-Aside action per Far 52.219-1 and 52.219-6; however; if sufficient proposals are not received this requirement will be unrestricted without further notice. The NAICS code is 561790 and the business size standard is $7.0 million. The solicitation will be issued via the internet at the Navy E-Commerce website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. Amendments and notices will also be posted on the NECO website. This will be the normal method of distributing amendments; therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to check the website daily for any amendments and other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Important Notice: Offerors are required to register in the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) prior to completing their Representations and Certifications (Section K of the RFP) in the ORCA, an on-line system located on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Solicitation will be issued on/about 19 April 2010. This will be a sealed bid contract. Proposals are due on Tuesday, 18 May 2010. Bid opening will be held aboard the NAS JRB in the Main Conference Room of the Public Works Dept, Bldg 1215. Bid Opening Time is 1430. Late bids will not be accepted. A site visit will be conducted on Thursday, 22 April at 10:30 AM. If you plan to attend, send an email request by 2:00PM, Wednesday, 21 April providing your company name and the name of the individuals attending. Only on site visit will be conducted.
