Description
This is a Multi-NSN project for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The procurement is authorized by IQC10081009046 to procure the Cable Assembly for each NSNs; utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) FAR 6.302-1); Unrestricted procedures NSN 5995-01-117-1307 and NSN 6150-01-267-0319. The approved source of supply is Breeze Eastern Corporation for both NSNs. Both items are deemed commercial. This is a Critical Application Item. Both NSNs are not Export Control Items. The Annual Demand Qty for NSN 5995-01-117-1307 is 204 each. Surge & Sustiantment applies for a Monthly Wartime Rate of 6 each. NSN 6150-01-267-0319 Annual Demand Qty is 108 each. The Government required delivery schedule for each NSN is 192 days. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on the issue date cited in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
