- This is a sole source announcement. No solicitation will be prepared or madeavailable. SPAWAR Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) intends to award afirm-fixed price contract to Trex Enterprises Corporation to purchase a CesiumAtomic Line filter with transmission of wavelengths at 459 nanometers (nm) andperfrom detailed measurements of the spectra transmission and out-of-bandrejection of the filter.Requirements are to manufacture the filter with a magnetic field near 1800gauss and a temperature capability near 170 degrees Celsius. The filter willincorporate two 5.75 inch diameter cesium cells. The delivered aperture will belimited to 2.25 square inches by the 2.5 square inch polarizers. The requiredfilter dimensions shall include end flanges with a 6 inch diameter window holeand an outer diameter of about 9 inches. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to therequirement via email to sean.kearns1@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not arequest for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements receivedwithin fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to competethis proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within thediscretion of the Government. Information received will normally be consideredsolely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. The applicable NAICS code is 334210. Central ContractorRegistration is required for all vendors doing business with DOD. Informationmay be found at www.ccr.gov.
