- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Yuma Proving Ground (YPG), Arizona, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Visual Instrumentation Corporation 1110 W Avenue L12 STE 2 Lancaster, CA 93534-7039. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333315 with a standard size of 500 employees. The contract will consist of the following; 1EA Visual Instrumentation Corporation 1EA MDL# 6800-1A H.I.P.I. Xenon Illuminator assembly to include 1EA Replacement Osram 7.0Kw Xenon short arc lamp. The requirement is for an Xenon Illuminator assembly which will re-place the existing system currently being utilized at YPG. The assembly must be form, fit, and function for direct replacement as a substitution of equipment can lead to test data loss. The system is proprietary to Visual Instrumentation Corporation. Interested parties must submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 9:00 A.M. MST on 21 April 2010. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
