- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District is soliciting for quotes to provide garbage collection and cleaning services at Blackhawk Park, DeSoto, WI. The Solicitation number W912ES-10-T-0039 is issued as a small business set-aside. Quote must be for one base year and four option years. The solicitation will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, and evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The requirement calls for garbage collection, policing and disposal in the park; cleaning and sanitary maintenance services for privies; cleaning and sanitary services for picnic shelters; miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance services; and cleaning and sanitary services for comfort stations. The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation and perform all work as required by the Scope of Work and that is necessary to complete this work. The seasonal period of performance for 2010 is 15 April through 30 Nov 2010. The seasonal period of performance for 2011 through 2014 is 01 April through 30 November. The resulting contractor will provide services in accordance with the requirement of the Scope of Work. Award will be made to the offeror with the ability to fulfill the aggregate of the requirements. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated contract start date is 15 April 2010. The solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns and the size standard is $7M dollars. The associated NAICS code is 561730. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry database located at www.ccr.gov prior to contract award. A determination by the government to not award based on the responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the government.
