- This notice is being posted for informational purposes only. This requirement is being funded in whole by the Recovery Act. The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a solicitation for a competitive, firm fixed price, commercial supplies/services contract to eligible 8(a) companies for Tactical Communications Modernization Communication Site Equipment and Materials. The purpose of this acquisition is for the Contractor to provide the acquisition, warehousing and inventory management of communication site equipment, shelters and other materials needed for the modernization of CBP's Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system in the Houlton Focus Area, within the State of Maine. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, travel and logistics necessary to accomplish the requirement.
