- RECOVER - TAS:: 14 2302 ::TAS Project H52A0600 & H52A0700 THIS IS ONLY AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR AN UPCOMING SOLICITATION - there is NO solicitation package at this time. RECOVERY ACT - This notice is released to announce the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, intent to award a firm-fixed price Highway/Road construction project. The Contractor shall furnish all labor and supplies to complete Hot Aspahlt Concrete Pavement Overlay and Pavement Markings for 4.300 Miles on BIA Routes 42 & 46 on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservtion, Navajo County, Whiteriver, Arizona. The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Western Regional Office, requires a firm fixed-price construction contract, and the procurement method is Negotiated Procedures, FAR Part 15 and 36. This project will utilize the Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Project (FP-03), except where otherwise indicated in the solicitation. The Standard Specifications are available at http://flh.fhwa.dot.gov. The solicitation is a "Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. The Period of Performance is 120 calendar days. Offerors are expected and responsible to inspect and verify the site conditions where the work is to be performed. This project is classified under NAICS Code 237310 and has a size standard of $33.5 Million. This solicitation is funded by American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), Public Law 111-5; and the contractor shall comply with ARRA statute and all applicable laws, regulations, provisions, policies, procedures, and clauses, including but not limited to meeting the requirements of Sec. 1512 of the ARRA and other accountability and transparency conditions. Please note that this is only an announcement for upcoming solicitation. There is no solicitation packet available at this time. The anticipated release of Request for Proposal (RFP) RA001110074 is May 3, 2010. Technical questions must be submitted ten (10) calendar days before the RFP response date. E-mail all questions to Paul Robinson, Contract Specialist, at paul.robinson@bia.gov. Interested firms are requested to submit a written request for the RFP package to Paul Robinson, via email at paul.robinson@bia.gov or Fax at 602-379-6763. Telephone requests to obtain the RFP package will NOT be accepted. Offerors are required to frequently check for updates at the website located at www.fbo.gov for updates and to download the solicitation packet when it becomes available. Faxed RFPs will not be accepted. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance are required upon award. Central Avenue, Room No. 450, Phoenix, AZ 85004-3050 by close of business, 4:30 PM (Local Time) on Friday, May 14, 2010.
