- Description
- Description of Work: The Memphis District Army Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract using sealed bid procedures. This project shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment to renovate four Engine Instrument and Control Panels, with instruments, sensors,, transmitters, wiring, plumbing, Program Logic Controller (PLC), and all accessories necessary to provide needed input and output to monitor and control four existing Caterpillar D398 turbocharged series Diesel Engines, replacement of 4 centralized lubricating systems, replacement of the Remote Alarm Panel in the stations office, replacement of 8 High Bay lights with High Bay HID Lights, 208VAC, required minimum illuminance of 32 fc, replacement of 5 exterior HID lights, and replacement of a EIM operator at the outlet structure. There are twenty-two (22) sheets in the set of drawings. The order of magnitude for this effort is estimated between $100,000 - $500,000. This procurement will be restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 238210 and SIC 1731. Bid opening for this solicitation will be on or about 1 June 2010 (Solicitation will issue on/about 30 April 2010.) A copy of the solicitation may be downloaded from the Army Single Face Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award.
