Description
Special Notice: This Pre-Solicitation: W9126G-10-R-0128 replaces Pre-Solicitation notice W9126GCTAO in total. Interested vendors who entered participation on the W9126GCTAO Pre-Solicitation should also select themselves as interested vendors on this Pre-Solicitation W9126G-10-R-0128. The Solicitation W9126G-10-R-0128 release is expected on, before or about April 16, 2010. Proposals Offerors will be due No Later Than: 5:00 PM on 17 May 2010. The Solicitation W9126G-10-R-0128 is limited to Small Disadvantage Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Fort Worth District will advertise a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a non-professional, construction phase staffing support single award task order contract (SATOC) to provide, but not limited to Quality Assurance Representatives and Administrative Support for the Central Texas Area Office (CTAO) located at Fort. Hood, Texas. This staff could also support projects located within the Southwestern Division boundaries (TX, AR, LA, NM, and OK) but can be used nationwide. Approximately 6 employees are to be provided for up to 5 years. The North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 541330 (Engineering Services). Size Standard limitation is $4.5 million. This will be a Non-Brooks act procurement subject to far part 12 commercial services and the Service Contract Act (SCA). Distribution of the RFP documents will be made strictly through the internet. There will be no printed or compact disk copies distributed to contractors. Additionally, the government will notify contractors of amendments to the RFP by posting them on federal business opportunity (FEDBIZOPS) website. The website that will display the above referenced solicitation and all subsequent amendments is http://www.fbo.gov/. Contractors are responsible for checking the website for any posted changes to the solicitation. Offerors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a government contract award. The CCR internet address is: http://www.ccr.gov/. The resulting contract will be negotiated and awarded with a base contract period of 2 years and up to one 3 year option period, and will have a contract value of an estimated $5 million. The contract shall continue as the option period is exercised at the sole discretion of the government. The minimum guaranteed amount of the base years is $10,000.00; there is no minimum guarantee for any subsequent option periods. All services required under this contract shall be described in an individual scope of work which may include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following types of tasks: quality assurance representative, and administrative support or other required incumbents per task orders.
