- RECOVERY - THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. This is a PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS. The USDA Forest Service, Plumas National Forest (hereafter "the Government," "the Forest Service," or "the Plumas National Forest (NF)"), announces a requirement for re-decking the Little Grass Valley half bridge. Specific work includes replacing the existing deck and running planks with an option to paint the superstructure steel. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment and materials to complete the project on schedule. The work area is located on the Feather River District of the Plumas National Forest, California. This acquisition is being advertised as a HUBZone set-aside under FAR Part 19, Subpart 19.13, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. The estimated construction range of magnitude is $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Contract period of performance is from April 15, 2011 through August 12, 2011. The applicable North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) Code is 237310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $33.5 million. Contractors are required to be registered and active with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The solicitation with specifications and wage rates will be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website on or about 29 April 2010. No hardcopies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed. To receive the Request for Proposal package and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the https://www.fbo.gov/ website.
