- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a brand-name basis under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to 19 April 2010 will be acknowledged by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS code 811310 is size standard in million is 7M. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37. Only emailed requests received directly from the requester are acceptable. The list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): Line Item: DescriptionQty 1.)Item one is for the Software and Hardware required for the telephonic Pacemaker System. The Medtronic Paceart Next Generation Relational Database Software will include two (2) servers, with thirty-one (31) concurrent workstations in both centers. The software provides connectivity to the existing Paceart system with specialized trans-telephonic ECG devices used to retrieve ECG recordings of pacemakers by telephonic transmissions. The Eastern Center will also have connectivity to the Paceart CardioVoice with the Medtronic Paceart Next Generation Relational Database Software.1 EA 2.)Item two is for the Installation/Training to be provided by the Contractor to the Staff at the two sites.
