- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, Texas 77030, intends to release a competitive Request for Quotes (RFQ) numbered VA580-10-RQ-0066, for a project entitled "Install Pharmaceutical Waste Containers". The successful vendor will be required to provide all labor, services, tools, and supervision to install pharmaceutical medical waste container in all in-patient rooms, MICU, CCU, and ICU in the hospital (see attached statement of work). The acquisition shall be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price type contract to the vendor. This procurement is restricted to vendors located within a 100 mile radius of the MEDVAMC. The solicitation is set aside for 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The North American Industry Classification is 238390 with a size standard of 500 employees.All prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to the time of award. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about 29 Apr 2010. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted on this website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) and all prospective offerors are responsible to visit this site frequently to obtain this or any other information pertinent to this acquisition. No other notification amendment will be provided. Vendors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers. Vendors should re-visit the Website periodically to look for updates. Site Visit: There will be only one scheduled and that information will be in the solicitation package. The Site Visit will be mandatory for all contractors interested in submitting a quote. All requests for information are required to be in writing and shall be received prior to solicitation opening; no telephone inquiries will be accepted.
