- Description
- Travis AFB requires a publisher to produce a Base Guide, Telephone Directory, and Installation Map. Publisher should provide 5,000 copies of the Base Guide, 5,000 over-run copies of the Travis Base Telephone Directory, 7,000 copies of the Travis Air Force Base Installation Map, and 10,000 tear off sheet maps for the first year. Subsequent quantities will be determined thereafter. Period of Performance will be a base period of 15 June 2010 through 14 June 2012 with two, two-year option periods running from 15 June 2012 - 14 June 2014, and 15 June 2014 - 14 June 2016. Interested businesses are required to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC) demonstrating: 1) ability to manage the services, description of past performance on previous contracts, dollar value of each contract, number of employees for each, the types and range of skills of employees for each, and point of contact and telephone number of the contracting activity for each contract; 2) and a capability statement, including summary of relevant performance history (with points of contact and applicable telephone numbers, FAX numbers, addresses and email addresses, if available) within the past three years. Payment Information: 1) All proceeds from the sale of advertisements for the Travis Air Force Base Guide and Installation Map belong to the Publisher, who agrees to look exclusively to such advertising for all publishing costs and profits, if any. 2) The publisher agrees to bear all costs and expenses of publishing the Travis Air Force Base Guide and Installation Map. It is expressly agreed that neither the United State, the commander or his or her representatives and successors, nor Travis Air Force Base shall be liable for any expenses or obligations incurred in publishing the Travis Air Force Base Guide or Installation Map. 3) No appropriated funds of the United States shall become due or be paid to the publisher by reason of this contract. This notice is to help Travis Air Force Base in determining potential sources only. No solicitation is currently available. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request to be considered for a contract award. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced later on the FedBizOpps website www.fbo.gov and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
