- Description
- The Department of Justice, Justice Management Division, Library Staff, intends to procure a newspaper delivery service for daily delivery of various newspapers to the US Attorneys office in New York City for a period of one year. Newspapers to be delivered include the Albany Times Union, Journal News, Daily News, New York Post, Newsday, New York Times, USA Today, Village Voice, Wall Street Journal and Washington Post. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.106 and Subpart 13.5. FAR 52.212 3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, must be completed and included with any and all quotes submitted in response to this synopsis. FAR Clauses 52.212 4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212 5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items are hereby incorporated by reference. FAR Clause 52.212 2 Evaluation Commercial Items is incorporated by reference. All referenced FAR clauses may be copied at https://www.acquisition.gov/. Award will be based on the ability to provide same day inside delivery of all required newspapers to 1 St. Andrews Plaza, New York, NY 10007 by 8:30 am at the lowest cost with no disruption in service. Service must begin my June 1, 2010. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS codes are 454390 and 424920. The business size standards are $7 million and 100 employees respectively. Interested parties must submit a written quote detailing product information and pricing. Quotes are to be sent to Daire McCabe via email at daire.r.mccabe@usdoj.gov. Quotations are due by April 19, 2010. Oral quotations will not be accepted. Telephone calls will not be accepted, as no solicitation document exists.
