- The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville,(FISCJ), intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for labor to conduct logistic, phase and special inspections, "O" level maintenance, Line Division, Corrosion Control, Tool Room, Central Publication Librarian support, and Maintenance Administration support to HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE SQUADRON FOUR-ZERO (HSM-40) H-60 aircraft at NS Mayport, Florida utilizing procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The period of performance consists of a base period of one year with four one-year option periods. The anticipated award date is on or about 01 September 2010. The requirement will be solicited using full and open competitive procedures. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 488190. The size standard is $7.0M. The RFQ, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. Once available, the RFQ will be posted to this site (Navy Electronic Commerce Online or NECO). The RFQ will be available on or about 16 May 2010. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Government. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the RFQ. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
